Heather’s bio
Dr. Stanley L. K. Flemming, DO, MA
Dr. Stan Flemming has completed nearly 40 years in the practice of medicine in addition to having a distinguished career in the United States Army and Washington State politics. He is a board-certified Family Medicine physician holding sub-specialties in the areas of Adolescent and Aviation Medicine. Additionally, he practiced in the areas of post acute/long-term care, high-risk obstetrics and HIV/AIDS Medicine having received additional sub-specialty training in these areas.
Dr. Flemming’s medical and educational experiences include hospital and private practice, public health, academic, military medicine and public health policy. He is a graduate of Pierce College (AA&S), The University of Washington (BS), Pacific Lutheran University (MA), and Western University of Health Science (DO). He completed his Residency at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach with services at Harbor UCLA and County USC Medical Center. His Fellowship was at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the USC School of Medicine. Additionally, he is a graduate of the United States Army War College Defense Strategic Program, the U. S. Air Force Air University, the United States Naval War College (MA) where he graduated with Distinction, the Army Special Operations Course, and the certificated Physician Executive Program at Harvard University. He holds the academic rank of Associate Clinical Professor in Family Medicine.
In the United States Army, he served at every level of command and served two combat tours of duty in the Middle East and Kosovo, retiring at the rank of Brigadier General. Following his retirement, Dr. Flemming was appointed as an Ambassador for the U. S. Army Reserves, a 2-star position by protocol.
In politics, Dr. Flemming served in various position to include the Washington State House of Representatives, Chairman of the Board for the Evergreen State College, Chairman of the Board for the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, President of the Rainier Telecommunications Commission, President of the Pacific Northwest University of Health Science and Medical School, and the Pierce County Executive Pro-Tem and Councilmember. He is the founder of the City of University Place and served as the Founding Mayor and current councilmember. During the Clinton Administration, he was named one of two finalists for the position of Surgeon General of the United States. He has authored numerous articles, papers, and has published his first book. In 2022, he was the co-founder of Pacific Medical Specialty Group, LLC where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Tim Preston, DO.
Dr. Preston is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, with a particular interest in inpatient and acute care. He received his medical
degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Dr. Preston previously worked in oil and construction before transitioning to medicine, a field that better suits his personality and goals. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, riding dirt and mountain bikes, skiing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and dog.
Bradley Scott, Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
Bradley Scott, PA-C, is a member of Summit Health’s Hospitalist team. He completed his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and earned a master’s degree in physiology at the same university. Bradley is a Physician Assistant since 2010, and has experience in hospital medicine, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and acute care surgery. He believes in treating each patient equally and is passionate about providing primary care in an acute care setting. Bradley enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and golfing, and is also an automotive restoration enthusiast.

Diane Webster, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech Therapist & Director of Rehab
With extensive experience spanning more than two decades, Diane Webster holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loma Linda University (1995). She’s dedicated her career to speech therapy, particularly in skilled nursing. For over a decade, she’s served as Director of Rehab in various SNFs and now leads Bend Transitional Care. Diane’s goal is simple: empower her team, communicate effectively, and guide patients to safe, independent recoveries.
