Diane Webster, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech Therapist & Director of Rehab

With extensive experience spanning more than two decades, Diane Webster holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loma Linda University (1995). She’s dedicated her career to speech therapy, particularly in skilled nursing. For over a decade, she’s served as Director of Rehab in various SNFs and now leads Bend Transitional Care. Diane’s goal is simple: empower her team, communicate effectively, and guide patients to safe, independent recoveries.

Physical Therapy

Arleen Norkitis, Senior Physical Therapist

With a wealth of experience spanning more than three decades, Arleen has specialized in elder care since 1987, working across acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings. Her passion for physical therapy began during a high school internship, where she witnessed its transformative impact. Today, she remains dedicated to helping individuals reach their peak physical potential.

Occupational Therapy

Breannah Scheiderman, Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Breannah Scheiderman, an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) holding a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD), graduated from Oregon State University for undergraduate and the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, for graduate school. Commencing her career in January 2024., Breannah’s passion lies in providing individuals with opportunities to enhance independence and participation in meaningful occupations, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Chris Atkin, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Chris Atkin, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), is a graduate of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, commencing practice in 2020. Chris is driven by a passion to inspire and motivate patients through relatable, goal-oriented, and fun therapy experiences.

Kayela Gatchet, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kayela brings extensive occupational therapy experience to her role as an OTA, having started her career in 2017. Before transitioning to OT, she spent 12 years as a CNA and Med Aide in skilled nursing facilities across Oregon. With a passion for geriatric care, Kayela finds fulfillment in working with the elderly population, striving to enhance their quality of life through therapy.

KT Terwillger, Occupational Therapy Assistant

With a wealth of experience spanning 24 years, KT is a dedicated certified occupational therapy assistant and licensed professional. She’s been a valuable member of the Bend Transitional team since 2014, holding a national certification that reflects her passion fo for the field. KT’s patient-centered approach focuses on active listening, ensuring tailored treatment plans that help individuals achieve their goals.

Amy Nichols, Physical Therapy Assistant

With a wealth of expertise gained since 2009, Amy holds a BS in exercise science from Pacific University and completed her PTA training at Mt. Hood Community College. Specializing in geriatrics, she’s dedicated her career to serving this population. Amy finds joy and fulfillment in her work at Bend Transitional Care, cherishing the time she spends with the individuals she serves.
